This would be a perfect venue for either the Vendetta or Silvio.  The route is a `loop' with great road, minimal navigation demands (i.e., riders would stay on the same few roads the entire route), and reasonable climbing (less than 1% average grade over the distance).

The Arizona Randonneurs is a well established group with excellent support.

I plan to do this brevet on the Vendetta.

Feel free to email me if you're interested.

Pain and suffering should not be the `goal' of ultracycling. Rather, the ability to learn from experience so that adversity can be managed with emotional resilience, good training and better preparation. The recumbent platform permits achievement of these goals.
