Silvio update - first production run near finished

I know there are a bunch of people out there anxiously waiting delivery of their Silvio. The anticipation, the excitement, choosing components, tires, I'm sure some of you are even selecting the handlebar tape in readiness.

As mentioned, the main production challenge in this bike is the unique front fork. The first production run of forks is not yet completed (sigh) but we are promised it will be soon ready and the shipping date is now mid July. That's just a few weeks away.

For those eagerly waiting our second production run, the lead time for this will be shorter, as we have already prepared all the CNC and forks in a large batch.

I recommend a 'short and shallow' road bar at 46cm width (center to center).

The front deraileur should not be the clamp on type but the type that fits a brazed on fitting - Silvio comes ready with this fitting.

Otherwise, any set of road bike components will fit. For example, I run Shimano Ultegra with FSA carbon cranks.
