We are dedicated to making sure everyone is completely happy with their new bike. We watch our quality control carefully and if anything is not right we'll do what it takes to fix it.
1) Black clamp. This is a alternate clamp for mounting the front deraileur. If the boom is adjusted short, within the last 4" (100mm) of its shortest position, then the front derailleur will need to be remounted on this black clamp.
1) There are two very small alloy pins. These are cable ends, so keep them in case you do any cable maintenance in future and need to replace them. They just stop the cable end from fraying.
The seat pan is attached with four bolts and four round barrel shaped 'nuts'. They should be located with bolts on the top of the frame, but can come loose. Make sure you find all four bolts and barrel nuts. If they are not all still in the frame, check inside the box carefully, look under the flaps.
Despite the most careful attention to packing and wrapping there is no predicting what happens to the box in transit. If you need to touch up the quest, go to your Ford Dealer for a bottle of Ford Code OT - Octane DPR609, which is the matching colour.
