What is the correct way to wash the seat cushions?

Is there a thicker open air mesh cushion to deal with the 37 drg C 98 F days

Regards

Hi SuperSlim,  in the laundry

Hi SuperSlim,
in the laundry tub, bit of liquid detergent, or shampoo, warm water, rub with your hands, rinse, stand up to dry.

What happens to the pads when it rains while the bike is parked outside? Do they “sponge” the water in?

The water flows through, it is not heldor sponged in, because we use the more expensive reticualted polyester, rather than standard cushion foam. On the seat pan where it is dished, some water can be held. Some folks take the cushions off the bike if it is parked in the rain.
