Hi Folks
Just a quick hello as I've not posted for a while - still riding the conversion. Did my first mini cycle camping trip at the weekend.
I past a lot of teenagers on the way out of town, the ratio of cheers to jeers was much bigger - I think a cruz looks so much cooler with full luggage on the back - that what is was born to do!!
Did 28 miles to the camp site straight into a head wind - not so bad on a cruz - would have turned back if cycling in the parachute position on a diamond. Anyway left home after 7pm and got to the camp site before 10pm, put up the tent in the orcard to the smell of apple bossom - wonderful. Tested out some new gear including a jetboil stove (recommended)
http://www.pillars.co.uk/camping_at_the_pillars.htm. (highly recommended!!)
cycled back in the morning, ooo sore legs, but as normal that was the only sore bit.
Must do it again some time!!
Cheers for now
