Achilles Tendon

I just got a Cruzbike Quest.

I been riding it for a couple of weeks.

Now my Achilles Tendon is hurting.

Could this be related to my leg length adjustment or something to do with the Quest.

Right, left, or both? My right achilles tendon got a little sore until I realized I was rotating my ankle a bit more and hyper extending my tendon a bit to make sure my right knee cleared the large shifter assembly on the right handlebar.

I tweaked the bar and shifter position a bit to get a little more clearance and the problem went away after that.

Adjusting Pedal Length

My Left Achille Tendon is hurting

When you adjust you Pedal length (using you heel against the pedal) do you do it with the pedal and Handle bar straight ahead or do you do with turning your handle bars a little bit ?

You are over-extending there

You are over-extending there - I have done this on RWD recumbents so it is not the bike itself.

I like to start with the bars straight ahead - set it so you can have your heel on the pedal with a NATURAL straight leg. Some people interpret "heel on pedal and straight leg" as hyper extended straight... make sure its good and neutral and you are not stretching it straight.

Set it there and only make changes in small 1/8" increments.

You may need to wait until it is healed until you can fairly reevaluate.
