These battery powered drones can't fly very long at all. In the Washington DC area, It's against FAA regulations to fly them pretty much anywhere Inside the Beltway and now the FAA is requiring these toys to be registered (and there will be a fee to do so soon). I suspect compliance with the registration will be poor though, there are almost certainly tens of thousands of them in the US, maybe hundreds of thousands, possibly millions.

I love the portability of that one too. With the app interfaces and how simple it looks to program flying routes and set these up - I imagine these will be all over the place in a handful of years (scary) haha
