Last Friday I received the new Headrest Cage Mount Kit from Cruzbike. I moved the two cages under the carbon seat to the new kit. Nice setup!
I have had a BentUp Aero bag for a while but hadn't found a satisfactory way to mount it on the V20 neck rest . Because I am short the headrest is set quite low leaving little room for the bag or a frame for the bag.
This morning I discovered BentAero's post of August 4 "Vendetta, meet Bacchetta BrainBox". Since I also had the new cage kit from Cruzbike I pulled out the Aero Bag for another look. I had never seen the two bags side by side but BentAero's pictures and his description of his solution for the BrainBox was intriguing.
Then the light went on.
I just pulled the AeroBag right over the two cages mounted to the new twin cage setup.
With the attached strap wrapped around the the lower part of the neck rest everything was secure. More thinking. The bottle cages are plastic. So, off to the bike shop for two aluminum cages just in case.
Now I have two bottles available either on the bike cages or on the AeroBag.
