Boom bumper

I leaned my Silvio against a post today, and wondered how long before I get some nasty scrapes and scratches. So I made a vinyl Boom "bumper", and positioned it where the bike balances. It has some 1/8 thick foam inside. It laces on with 1/4 inch wide elastic.

I make trinkets like this for my auto forum, so I have all the materials on-hand.
I can make them with perforated vinyl, or smooth black vinyl.
If anyone likes the idea, we can start a list and I'll make up a batch for the first five folks, for free (What can I say, alliteration is fun!).

I like it too.
If you are looking for another "project", this technology seems like it would work really well to make a neck rest cover, with openings to attach lights, bags, bottle holders, etc.
I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

I approve... not that that matters, but here's why:
The lashing will hold up much better than Velcro ever would.
Good job!
