I got a Sram compact double when I first got the Silvio, but the lowest gear wasn't low enough for me on the steepest grades I climbed (up to 15%). I was able to climb them, but I felt I was putting too much stess on my knees. So, I went to my LBS and had them put on a 12 - 36 cassette which requred a different derailer to handle the large sprocket. The put a Sram X9 on which is a mountain bike derailer. I haven't had any problems with it. The derailer works well with the shifters and climbing is much more enjoyable now. The only issue I have with the contact double is that when I shift to the larger chainwheel I have to shift down about 2 or three sprockets on the rear, otherwise the shift up is too big of a jump. I haven't tried the WiFli, but I can tell you that the Sram products are great, and I would think that the WiFli is similar to what I now have except the WiFli only goes up to a 32 on the cassette. Good luck.
