Cruzbike - Silvio 1.5 - lead bicycle for 2014 HITS Marathon in Oklahoma City October 11th.

I was the official measurer of the Marathon course so the race director asked me to be lead bicyclist. Guess he figured I knew the route. Weather was cool but no wind.
Winner ran a 2:38 marathon - 6 min per mile or 10MPH.

I didn't expect that you could have cold weather where you live this time of the year?
We have had a nice summer and fall some of the mornings now are getting colder but the day temperatures are still comfortable.

It was nice of you to lead the race.
Did you get many comments about your Silvio?

I was probably a bit over dressed for the temperature (50 F/11 C) that morning. Race started at sunrise and I figured I wouldn't be riding that hard since I was pacing the runners.
It's fall here but warmer than normal. Yesterday the High was 86.3 F/30 C and Low was 50.5 F/11 C - great riding weather.

"Did you get many comments about your Silvio?" - surprising, no comments. Not very many people along the course though.
