This past weekend I took this thing out to the condo parking lot and was peddling immediately, and virtually without issue. Yesterday I rode to a nearby football field and spent 1/2 hour circling the field and practicing figure 8s. Starting off, as others have reported, is dodgy, but I pretty much kept a straight line.

The bike weighs 15 kg. After slimming down the custom seat mount I might lose 1/2 kg or so. And, after devising a quick-release mechanism for seat bracket, it should fold to a pretty small package.
So far, so much fun. Chinese New Year will soon be here, and the streets of Kuala Lumpur will be largely empty. Can't wait.
