I run a tripple crankset Shimano Alivio 44-32-22 (now 20), and a 9 spd cassette 11-34.
To keep the cassette and run an IGH at about my present gear relations I'd need a 26,66T front chainring. Commercially available is the 28T.
Will it work if I replace the 22T inner chainring with a 28T and remove the other two chainrings? Will I have problems when running the 28-11 combination?
Any better options?
