indoor training

Hi,
Planning for the winter training and one thing is to find a a trainer that fit the v20.
Do not want to spend a lot of Money on a trainer because I also have some plans for the bike...
I have a garmin edge 1000 and might use that one for the data ... or ??
Is it neccecery to get an extra Wheel with Indoor tyre or is it possible to use a trainer with direct drive??
I dont have any knowledge of indoor training and glad if I dont have to spend all time Learning and comparing all trainers ... Just want a good budget one and start training...

Most trainers should work fine, you just need a skewer long enough to fit the front dropout width. There have been periodic posts about what works, maybe search "skewer" in the forums?
