I noticed this project the other day, and it looks like a good fit for Cruzbikes looking for a fender solution for occasional rainy rides.

It may even be better than that, or it may never ship, it's Kickstarter, you take your chances. And I don't know these people, I am not a paid reviewer, I am not responsible if you back it and they never make fenders, or ship them in 2030.
However at the moment, I'm a backer because I live in SoCal, and it rains here, but not often. When I lived in Seattle I left my fenders on my old diamond frame bike year round because, well it's a moderate rain forest.
Anyway I thought other Cruzbike riders might be interested.
