modifying a Sofrider rear wheel

I own a Sofrider (V1) model; The early version (V1) has a rear drop-out width dimension for a typical rear drive wheel. To accommodate the rear drop-out space, a front wheel e-motor hub needs to be able to use a long axle with barrel washers. Is there anyone having success making this sort of modification? Can you adapt a 26" front wheel e-motor kit to fit typical rear drop-out spacing?

The axle of electric hub

The axle of electric hub motors are geared so that the motor can turn against something. You can't just replace the axle with the one in the conversion kit. You may find a geared axle for rear wheel electric motors but i'm not sure, and i don't know if it's gonna cheap.
You might have to buy the whole rear electric hub and deal with having an inelegant cassette.
