I run a double chainring 18T and a 39T on my Quest 559. The 18T to climb mountains and the 39T most of the time.
The 39T is a Qring to be used on a single speed bike, thus it doesn't have any pins or ramps and sometimes doesn't shift so well from the 18T to the 39T.
I thought on screwing a screw to the 39T chainring to use its head as a shift pin.
Is there any formulas or specs on shifting pins size and positioning?
