Representing at RSVP

Last Friday and Saturday, I rode the Cascade Bicycle Club's RSVP, the Ride Seattle to Vancouver and Party. RSVP is a beautiful ride through some of the more picturesque stretches of Western Washington, and much more a social ride for the Ride Leaders I know than the Seattle to Portland Bike Classic. I was delighted to see more recumbents on this year's RSVP than I'd seen in previous rides. I saw three Bacchetas, an older Action Bent (I know the rider, he's faster than anything!), and even a Vision R84 tandem. Better yet, I saw a Silvio 1.0, another V20, and an S40 at the finish line festival. I had met the Silvio driver previously, and I had a fun chat with the other V20 guy. I also did my customary chats with a bunch of curious cyclists who asked about my bike. Fun stuff!
