Rim Brake

Greetings. In Colin Croft's post regarding his Quest 559/700c (http://cruzbike.com/559700cc-build...finally-ridable) we note that he installed a rear rim brake where the kickstand was mounted. Does anyone know if this is possible with any Quest (1 or 2)?

Thanks.

From Ratz's VAST garage of 6+? Quests from V 1 to V3,

V1 559 * 35 (1.3") max front, Disc 700*23 rear with filing some of the kickstand away, Disc OR Rim brake, but its better to have the same sized wheels front and rear.

V2 650 * 35 max front Disc , 650*35 rear with filing some of the kickstand away, Disc brake?
V3 700 * 23 max front Disc+ rim, 700*23 rear with filing some of the kickstand away?, Disc OR Rim brake

See attached photo of a V1.0 with 26" * 32 tyre with lots of space sideways and height.

The 700*28 wheel off my Silvio V1 would not fit, but needed an approx 12 mm off the kickstand bracket in the tyre area to be removed, and I assume that the rim brake uses the kickstand hole.
