Does anyone know where I can buy a SV version of the Schwalbe Airmax pressure gauge for Presta french valves, 78 mm *15 mm dia 8 gms, as I had one and lost it.
I have hunted on the Internet for ages for one , but can only find the digital PRO version which are too big and bulky.
Two weekends ago I rode in a 125 km race from Clare to Wallaroo, Sth. Aust., and used another riders floor pump, to pump my 700*28 tyres to 100 psi as with my Silvio V1.0 that is the max. pressure for the rear tyre not to rub on the crown. His 100 psi must have been 110-120 psi on my floor pump gauge.
The wheel spun OK at the start but as it was a 30 C day, the pressure must have built up and finally rubbed a hole in the 1,000 km tyre!!!
