Silvio assembly - lubrication/grease/

I'm in the process of assembling the Silvio frame set and now that I'm getting to the boom, bb, and fork assembly I'm puzzled that the pdf does not mention lubrication anywhere.
Is that just a given and therefore goes without saying?

bb threads?
steering tube?
steering tube assembly?

I think they just took it for

I think they just took it for granted. You may or may not develop a creak if you don't lubricate the boom/slider. Also, my SRAM bottom bracket installation instructions told me where to lube the bottom bracket. As for the steerer/bearing assembly, I am hearing an occasional squeak from my headset area and will go back and re-lube there.

Do you use plain grease or do you prefer a special lubricant that works better?

Jake, if that's a question for me, I've been using regular bike grease on everything except the chain and cables -- just following advice from friends.
