The minimalist SportWing Larry's got would be what I would have got had I known. Can't beat the small size or price.
I did the un-thinkable today. After riding in the morning, I mounted my V on the SportWing, pulled the top straps over the tires, but forgot to velco the frame to the SportWing frame members.
Wow - drove to an appointment and notice the bike just "dangling" there on the hooks. Took my breath away for a second.
I feel lucky that the little rubber clamps pulled over the tires held up!
Wake up call! - I will be more careful from now on!

Bike abuse...... bike abuse.....

That is one nice thing about the saris. Impossible to make that mistake on my saris rack. and I need that extra protection for my numbskull moments.
 
Here it is on the kuat.

In fact, although it seems to work ok, I have to put it on backwards like my other recumbents.
In the case of the S30 though, the front triangle is much heavier than other recumbents so the plastic strap doesn't prevent the front wheel from turning completely. It does tilt forwards or backwards slightly.

It's secure enough for me however some other design might be more optimal.
