Just thought I'd share a simple improvement to my vendetta.
I wanted to carry a bag to at least be able to carry a few things on the V. I do have a little tiny triangle bag inside the seatstay triangle for spare tube, patch kit and tire levers, but wanted more room for phone, wallet, rainjacket, lunch etc for cycling to work. I had tried carrying a light messenger style bag on my vendetta, slung diagonally across the chest to the side. Doing up the shoulder strap really short, it worked ok except that the bag would sometimes contact the rear wheel and rub, damaging the bag and of course being annoying.
I was thinking and doodling plans for some corroboard etc, then realised just a simple tight strap would stop the bag swinging in against the wheel. It works great and weighs almost nothing.
So now my vendetta can also be a commuter, which is good since with a new son, spare time for cycling is non existent.
