Sofrider Built!

Sofrider built! Fred Flintstoned it around my kitchen and living room, tinkered etc. now it's 12:57 a.m. Looks like a big coffee day tomorrow at work.

It's really beautiful. The front brakes and the shifters have given me a fit, mainly because I'm stubborn. Plus I think I'm missing a part on my left crank arm, it fell off. However with all that I'm still excited and may not be able to sleep tonight.

Tomorrow I will see if I can get into my local bike shop and have them adjusted properly, get my crank attached then Saturday and Sunday will be practice practice practice.

Tried uploading a picture ... major fail! I'll try again another day.

SO HAPPY!!!

Test ride

It was a successful day. My local bike shop adjusted the brakes and deraillers. I test rode, in the first 5 min, I thought there would be no way I could put my feet on the pedals and stay upright, but little by little I improved and can now pedal in a straight line, and turn!! So excited to practice again tomorrow.

I think I'm going to love it.
