Something (really stupid) happened on the way to the Park

Larry, your story (glad that all ended well considering the alternatives) reinforces my paranoia about tying things down before I head out with my trailer. Thanks for sharing it with us.
You are indeed ONE LUCKY GUY!
Yes I am - I've definitely got some angels working overtime on me this weekend, if not this whole year!
(They might be asking for another assignment for next year, who knows??? :) )

larry really sorry this happened. glad it turned out okay. we live and learn. mighty effort sharing. we all do silly things from time to time. once i unintentionally overloaded (wet sand) a box trailer and coming down a big hill it started to sway. i had to speed up as the trailer was pushing the truck. by the time i got to the bottom i was doing 30klm per hour over the speed limit. again i was in a rush too and did not think it through. it could have turned out very badly and involved others... now every practical thing i do i always perform a risk assessment . i bet you will never again have a bike fly from your car.
