I would like to put my Quest 559 3.0 on the airplane.
I have looked through all of the postings, but I have not found any suggestions for a suitcase that will accommodate the Q559 3.0 with 26 inch wheels. Does anyone know of a suitcase that will work?

A 26"*26"*10" meets the USA bag max. limit.

Look at the videos on the bottom right hand side of the Cruzbike Quest Bike page, to see John folding the 22" Quest up and fitting into a Samsonite case with a reasonable amount of room for a larger wheel.

You might need to copy Johns instructions and see what minimum size shape you can create.

Now IF you lived in Australia, the great Island Downunder, then 57" * 32" * 11.4" is the max. size for a free bike box at 23 kgs weight limit (50 lbs)

The case that is shown in the

The case that is shown in the video will not work for a 26" version, unless the wheels are going in an entirely different case.

Even with a 406 wheel set it is a tight fit and you need careful padding - remember checking it as a "regular" bag means it will get tossed around like one.

The Q is only available as a 26" bike now, but Jonathan at Rose City Recumbent Cycles can re-lace the wheels to 451 or 406 rims for one sweet compare recumbent.

Robert, what are the inside dimensions of that 31" samsonlite" in the video, and what is the minimum length of the frame?
