Last few trail rides in Vermont. Just beautiful with all the leaves but will be covered shortly with snow.

Out of curiousity, what tires are you using? How well do they handle the leaves and gravel?

Cheers,

Tires on Vermont Trail Ride

I have 1.95 on the front and a 1.5 on the rear. I guess these tires are designed for road and trail as most of the tread is on the side so it provides a smooth ride on the road and traction in soft dirt. I thought the leaves would be a problem climbing the hills but just took it easy, especially going down and stayed off the brakes.

Phil:Hello-- are you on

Phil:

Hello-- are you on vacation in Vermont? Or are you back in Florida? I live in Burlington and have been wanting to test ride a Softrider now for quite awhile. If you're still up here, I'd love to take your bike for a quick spin. I have about 20 years of experience riding short- and long-wheel base Rans recumbents, so I promise I won't crash your new ride!

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

Yes, I'm still in Vermont. One more week. No problem in testing riding my bike if you like.

I'm located on Georgia shore just south of St. Albans bay.
