john hello in your tips for choosing a bike frame you said 26" tyres with high psi were better. I run 7cs on lwb bent at 100 psi but , I am finding 20sixers at 80 to 85 psi. your comments please. I built my lwb on a frame only from recycled recumbents [ frame and all parts and componets are recycled ] and now would like to add a swb to my stable ! Bent on pain-free riding! Dameon

80 to 85 psi is okay for a comfortable ride. If you have suspension, you can go higher. There are various 26 x 1, or x 1.25 or x 1.5" that run to 100 psi.

Tires with knobby treads are very common and are always terrible on pavement, where most people ride. Do we put rally tires on our everyday cars? No we don't. :)

I hope you enjoy your cruzbike build.
