I'm doing up my new Silvio S30 with the new Ultegra 6800 11 speed (Di2). According to posts on your site i'll need "Shims for the smaller BB diameter. 1 3/4" outside X 1 5/8" inside x 3/8" wide." True?

.... Where would I get these?

6800 shims

Online metals.com....... Just order a small section of 1 3/4"x 1 5/8" aluminum tubing and cut the shims the width you want. I have a lot of miles on mine so far, no problems.

TEX,  I just went through

TEX, I just went through this as well. I ended up sourcing and purchasing a Dura Ace 7900 BB with the standard sized bearing cups. If you want to go that route I give me a shout and Ill give you the hookup.

Shimano 6800 BB

Hi Tex, Have to agree with telephd. I recently built a Silvio S30 in Canberra with the Shimano 6800 11 speed groupset and ended up buying the Dura Ace 7600 BB from my LBS. Personally I would rather have the chainstay fit the BB as designed without the use of shims, which are more likely to come loose. I'm sure that a google search will put you in touch with several bike parts suppliers with this BB in stock.
